Junior database administrator

A junior  database administrator to assist with the implementation and maintenance of our web-based Geographic Information System applications.   

SQL server experience is a pre-requisite while preference will be given to those with Oracle databases as well.
• The level of person we are looking for is someone who could handle the maintenance of systems, with minor inputs and assistance from our experienced project managers, administrators and programmers.
One to two years experience will suffice
Preference will be given to those with some web development experience and especially dynamic website using a server-side scripting or programming language such as PHP, C# or Java.
Any GIS experience would be a bonus.
What else he will be doing when not busy with support – web site admin, help files updating and upgrading, first line support software tweaking, client installations records/ documentation maintenance, in office database and server administration, and he will be pulled into programming teams on certain projects

Salary: R10 000 / R11 000 or negotiable depending on experience
